By now most of  you have seen or heard the "trick" where you get an innocuous email asking if you can do a favor or if you shop on Amazon.  When you respond, you receive a second email with a request that you get them a gift card and email it to them.  The new trick is that the bad guys actually hack into the "senders" email account and compromise it by taking advantage of some new AOL features.

Some things to be wary of and a reason to pay attention to your email passwords.

I found this when searching for something else.  This slowness has been a problem in the past. I don't know if the procedure will work.

Several customers have expressed interest in hosting a Zoom meeting.  Some actually want to host a meeting, others are just curious.  This is what I have been telling them.

Some of my neighbors are less tech savvy than others, so when we decided that in the interest of social distancing we would hold our Spring meeting using Zoom, I was asked to provide instructions for joining the meeting.  This is what was published in the weekly enews.

I could do this with a bookmark, but putting it here makes it easier to find if I am not on my own computer.

It's easy enough to change fonts in Outlook's Inbox or other folders using View-View Settings-Other Settings-Column Font and Row Font, but a customer wanted to change the font in the Navigation Pane.

A customer has called several times complaining that the person at the other end of a Skype call can't hear him. Selecting the correct microphone cures the problem.
